SAGINAW, Mich.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Graminex® L.L.C., producer of Graminex® Non-Solvent Flower Pollen Extracts™, is pleased to appoint Alexander Grantz, Ph.D., to the position of Chief Scientific Officer. Grantz will focus on increasing Graminex brand recognition, by developing a more defined scientific understanding of Graminex® Flower Pollen Extract™ products.

Grantz joins Graminex from an industry background in the health and nutritional ingredients. In the past he has worked with Wilbur-Ellis Company and its subsidiary, Connell, a distributor of specialty chemicals and nutritional ingredients in Asia. Grantz holds a doctorate degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley where he studied the structural biology of plant signal transduction pathways.
